McCain the blowhard

If I didn't hate McCain before (which I did), these kinds of tirades make me hate him more.  He talks about $500 billion increase in taxes... for some reason, a couple percent increase for people earning $200,000+ doesn't seem that excessive to me...

Awww... baby didn't get his bottle...

Poor McCain didn't get his way, and in retailation wants to redouble their efforts to truly be the Party of No - that'll be the way to win in Nov, John, go at it!

Senior Republicans in Congress warned that voters will judge Democrats harshly in November's midterm elections, with Sen. John McCain of Arizona saying the Democratic-passed bill killed any chance of bipartisan support on legislation for the rest of the year.

McCain becoming expert at posturing, if nothing else

Good thing McCain is arguing against advertising for the census... wouldn't want all those illegals knowing that they won't get deported if they report their presence... who knows - if we actually have good estimates of illegal immigrants and poor people, we might actually have to provide services to them, wouldn't want that.

McCain has Internet Expertise?

Why is McCain introducing bills against net neutrality?  Didn't he just get his 1st email address last year?  What does he know about the internet?

Good for McCain

McCain seems to be doing a great job of getting past the election and working on his legacy and on being part of the solution to the country's problems.  He's also rejecting the attacks linking Obama to Gov Blagojevich, and understandably reserving ensoresment of Palin 2012.

"In his first Sunday political TV appearance since November 4, McCain also promised to work to build consensus in tackling America's challenges, and criticized his own party for its latest attack on Obama."
