Exercising rights = agitation?

"According to Jules, after he attempted to take his first shot, he was "quickly and aggressively stopped by one of their adult officers asking me who I worked for". He refused to provide his personal details – and from there on, events moved swiftly downhill. In the clip, a male officer with an outwardly poor grasp of the law can be clearly heard.

Photography is not a crime (or shouldn't be)

"In response to a flood of Facebook and YouTube videos that depict police abuse, a new trend in law enforcement is gaining popularity. In at least three states, it is now illegal to record any on-duty police officer.

Even if the encounter involves you and may be necessary to your defense, and even if the recording is on a public street where no expectation of privacy exists.

Another photographer bites the dust in Brittain

She kind of seems like she may have been looking for this response, but I still don't think the police were justified... esp how they came up with "biking the wrong way down a one way street" from out of nowhere after only asking her about her filiming for 5 minutes... talk about a trumped up charge.

A story in msm about what's actually important in new cameras

So tired of seeing ads for dinky cameras with 15+ megapixels, nice to see someone spreading the truth

Nice dam and beautiful area, but unfortunately the area directly surrounding the dam is under tight control for security reasons. For photography, there are lots of eagles and other interesting birtds in the area. There is also a several mile long track that runs through the woods along the river that is beautiful.
