Apple gets highest score ever in satisfaction, holds off PCs
Apples may be more expensive, but this is what is bought for the money difference:
"Apple today managed to get its best-ever score on the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) and maintain its lead over Windows PCs. Happiness with Macs climbed from 84 points last year to an all-time high of 86 this year. It has a nine-point lead over the maximum 77 point score for Windows PCs, the largest gap of any category in the ACSI."

Mac way more expensive than dells? Oh really...?
"Despite the "Apples to Apples" claim, a closer inspection reveals that Dell has cherry-picked models while glossing over what its systems omit. In notebooks, the Studio notebooks are using 1.73GHz quad Core i7s versus the Macbook Pro's 2.66GHz dual Core i7. The latter is potentially faster in most cases and also gives Apple a much longer nine hours of peak battery life versus Dell's 5.5 and eight hours maximum at the quoted prices.
Apple Rules :o)
I often hear people complain that apple-lovers are "sheeple," buying whatever "Lord Jobs" offers them. They compare apple products to their competitors based on specs and price, and use these to "prove" that apple users are being conned into buying inferior products. They always ignore what apple and its users have discovered, though - specs don't really matter, experience matters.
Apple vs. Adobe
Apple refuses Adobe's crap? Good job!
Israel blocks iPads
As if I needed more reasons to think Israel sucks...
"The government seems serious about its iPad import ban. Customs officials have already confiscated ten iPads and told their owners to ship them overseas. "

Apple through time
Good article on Apple's history, and their progression from an open to closed company...
The iPad is released
The iPad is released, and in all the coverage this is my favorite quote... if "devotion" in Australian is a woman who gets the beer (old foster's ad), this is an über geek's version...
“I have no idea what he’ll do with it,” said Jessica Panzica, 30, waiting in line at the Apple store in downtown San Francisco for her husband, who could not pick up his iPad because he had a ham-radio class. “I’m sure he’ll use it a lot, whatever it is. He told me I’m not allowed to open it.”

Yeah Apple!
I've been curious what will happen with Apple and its war on Flash, and it looks as though they're winning a lot of battles... The main problem with flash is that it's wasteful (sucks batteries on iPads and iPhones), insecure (opens platforms up to cross-platform viruses), has privacy problems (you can't really disable flash trackers like you can cookie-based trackers), and is propretary and controlled by Adobe. Apple would prefer web designers to just use standard HTML, and towards that goal has been helping to make HTML a more suitable substitute to flash by making it more capable (addi
Why do companies make customers break laws to fully use devices they pay hundreds of dollars for?
"But what was an easy task for a curious teen has turned into a persistent headache for Apple, one that the company has been trying to cure for over two years, with little success. With each new version of the iPhone operating system, a small army of independent programmers and hackers get to work prying it open, removing restrictions and making their iPhones do things that Apple CEO Steve Jobs never intended.
