RIAA Love

Recent developments in copyright... some interesting cases involving the recording industry vs. the public.  In one, the labels were granted a $2,000,000 award for 24 songs shared, ~$80,000/song - that sounds like a reasonable penalty for products that cost $0.99 each, not.  In the second case, a judge with more sense through out the industries claims after probono investigators cast light on the "evidence" the RIAA uses.  I hope that at some point this whole campaign will blow up in the industry's face: mass mailing threats to pay $3,000 or face certain bankruptcy trying to prove innocence is nothing short of extortion, and it should be recognized as such.
